This course includes the information and skills necessary to give safe and responsible care for children and infants. This training will help you develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep yourself and others safe and help children behave, and learn about basic childcare and basic first aid.

Successful course completion requires participation in classroom activities and skill sessions. Some practice sessions require physical activity. Please wear comfortable clothing and avoid wearing dangling jewelry with sharp edges. Please bring a baby doll to class to participate in hands on learning activities.

Upon successful completion of the Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course, you will receive a certificate indicating Babysitter’s Training.

Time: 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Cost: $40 per person (drop off or mail payment to RHSHC before class to reserve spot)
Location: Regional Health Services in the Laura Rose Education Center
Enter through the Cresco Clinic entrance or the Cresco Family Pharmacy entrance.
Lunch and morning snack will be provided.

A mask is required when in the hallways of the facility. Masks may be removed in the classroom. We ask that participants wait in the Laura Rose Education Center until their pick-up person has arrived so the instructors can ensure a safe depart.
