Exciting times await two nationally recognized healthcare providers!
On June 1, Rock Valley Physical Therapy will begin providing physical, occupational, and speech therapies at Regional Health Services of Howard County (RHSHC), in Cresco, Iowa.
Rock Valley will work in step with Regional Health Services — an affiliate of Avera — to continue to offer a full-scope of health services for its community and surrounding areas.
“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Regional Health Services; we currently have a presence in the Northern Iowa region and are grateful to be able to reach more patients with our staff located at the hospital,’’ said Debbie Healy, MPT, OCS, Senior Physical Therapist, Vice-President for Growth and Development for Rock Valley Physical Therapy.
“At Rock Valley, our tagline is: “Making Better Lives.” Partnerships like this allow us to do more of what we love while improving the health and wellness of people in our communities,’’ Healy added. This goal aligns well with that of Regional Health Services. Regional Health Services, a unique consortium of healthcare services provided to the residents of Howard County and its surrounding areas, is committed to offering the best in health care right in Howard County. This vision is made possible by forging partnerships and collaborative relationships with other health care providers such as Rock Valley.
Founded by Steve Layer in 1986, Rock Valley Physical Therapy features 52 clinics, covering seven regions throughout Iowa and Illinois. Rock Valley is one of the nation’s largest therapist-led entities of its kind with a foundation based on its rehabilitative solutions.
It is an organization of care-providers, led by care-providers, who firmly believe in the mission to improve the health of the communities it serves. Recently, Rock Valley Physical Therapy earned the 2021 Top Workplaces USA award, issued by Energage, a purpose-driven organization that develops solutions to build and brand Top Workplaces. Its fifth such honor in the past five years.
“RHSHC is excited to partner with Rock Valley Physical Therapy,’’ said Robin M. Schluter, RHSHC President/CEO. “We have been highly impressed with the depth of their expertise and the cutting-edge technology that they will bring to the care of our patients. We are confident in a strong partnership as Rock Valley holds the same “patients first” values which RHSHC embraces.’’
Excellence in therapy services continue to be available to area patients close to home and provided by staff members the community can trust. To learn more about therapy services at RHSHC, please call 563-547-6361.
