Regional Health Services of Howard County is once again hosting an in-person Red Cross Babysitters Training Course. This course includes the information and skills necessary to give safe and responsible care for children and infants. The training will help you develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep yourself and others safe and help children behave, and learn about basic childcare and basic first aid. The course is open to anyone 11 years or older.
Successful course completion requires participation in classroom activities and skill sessions. Upon successful completion of the Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course, you will receive a certificate indicating Babysitter’s Training.
The course is being held in the Laura Rose Education Center at Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco on Wednesday, June 29 from 8:00-3:00. The cost is $40 per student. Payment must be submitted to RHSHC before the class date to reserve your spot. Lunch and morning snack will be provided. Limited spots available.
