Dr. Henry Diggelmann is a board‑certified otolaryngologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of conditions of the ear, nose, and throat. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Diggelmann completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He is an active member of the Iowa Academy of Otolaryngology and the Iowa Medical Society.
With a background in music, Dr. Diggelmann was naturally drawn to otolaryngology due to its close connection to hearing and voice. He enjoys the variety the specialty offers, combining both clinical and surgical care while treating a wide range of conditions—from common issues such as tonsillitis to more rare and complex disorders.
During clinic visits, Dr. Diggelmann focuses on accurate diagnosis and patient education. He takes time to explain the underlying cause of each condition so patients can clearly understand what is happening and feel confident making informed decisions about their care.
